GSTEP was the company selected by the Luz Saúde Group to implement a complete new-generation Business Intelligence solution.
GSTEP improves business processes at Lusitania Seguros
In order to meet the increasingly demanding business challenges faced by Lusitania, including the need for real-time responses, GSTEP has implemented Oracle Exalytics, the first in-memory BI (Business Intelligence) machine in the sector. Including Hardware and Software components, Oracle Exalytics allows for a high response capability, cost reductions, a less complex IT infrastructure, increased productivity and improved performance. Implementation of this project also led to increases in the speed and usability of Lusitania’s decision support tool.
GSTEP helps AdvanceCare monitor fraud scenarios
The objective of the project developed is to analyse fraud and abuse scenarios using automated processes able to detect a large number of suspicious cases, as well as make the latter more readily available to internal areas, for analysis, and to institutional clients, through a user-friendly, fast-access Business Intelligence (BI) interface.
GSTEP automates Planning and Budgetary Control solution at one of the largest Insurance Companies in Portugal
The objectives of the Management and Planning Control (MPG) project developed by GSTEP, based on the Oracle Hyperion solution, were to simplify financial data processing at the Insurance Company, produce budgetary control reports and increase the time available to analyse results, indicators and trends.

In order to maximise the response capability of the Sales Network, in what concerns requests analysis (acceptance, acceptance with alterations or rejection), Lusitania has equipped this area with a fast, agile electronic channel. Available 24/7 and accessible at all levels of the Sales hierarchy, the new mobile application (app) is fast, intuitive and controllable.
